Clean Eating & Intermittent fasting: Lopez’s number one rule is start your day with a glass of warm water. She drinks tons of water throughout her meals and her day. She manages to stay hydrated and full of energy by drinking lots of water before and after her workouts as well.

Her rule number 2 is clean eating. Lopez like to eat lean protein like chicken, tuna, salmon with lots of veggies.When it comes to carbs she prefers sweet potatoes, quinoa or gluten free rice cakes and brown rice. Moreover she is a big supporter of eating lots of fruits throughout the week. And her favorite snack is blueberries with yogurt. Blueberries are low glycemic and full of vitamin C.

As important as it is to know what you should be putting in your body, something that’s perhaps more important is knowing what not to put in it. In JLo’s case, she steers well clear of caffeine. She always drinks decaffeinated coffee. In addition to that it is important to state that she also doesn’t dink alcohol.

Apart from the healthy diet that Lopez follows one her beauty and fitness secrets is intermittent fasting. One of the biggest trends and most popular and successful ones is the pattern of eating where you eating your meals in a certain time. Jlo and many other celebrities adore intermittent fasting as it’s not only a very healthy pattern of eating but it also fits to people with a busy lifestyle.

There are a couple of ways which you can follow if want to adapt this pattern of eating. The one that Lopez follows is the 16/8 intermittent fasting is one of the most popular styles of fasting . This means that you can eat only an 8 hour- window during the day and fasting for the remaining 16 hours. This will support your weight-loss improve your digestion system, improve blood sugar and increases longevity. People with very busy schedules like Lopez skip breakfast and start their first meal at 1 pm and their last meal stops at 9 pm. Lopez and some of her famous friends like Jennifer Aniston are big fans of this pattern of eating.
